Ek Thi Daayan review- a must watch but for once only.

Sometime you want something really scary, but for sure not a nonsensical one. Then here comes one of the scary movie from the bucket of little sensible Bollywood, Ek thi Daayan. Movie is too good and you will feel the rhythm of your heart. soaring up and down till the end.
Movie is about a witch who needs her vampire to live forever thereafter. The witch or "Daayan" as normal follows the vampire and reaches to him and then vampire (which is a good one, unlike bad vampires) kills that Daayan by some tricks he had learned in a book describing about witch and vampires.
But the Daayan comes again into his life after 20 years to take him back, but again vampire win his battle and kill that Daayan again.
Movie is too good to watch and one time watch to "zarur banta hai".
Imran Hasmi's as usual acting is super fine, then konkona sen also haven't let any stone un-turned and will not let you feel any less or over acting of any kind and at anytime. Konkona Sen is truly a fabulous actor.
Kalki koechlin who has bit less role here, also performed well and the new entrant Huma Qureshi (bit heavy) did justice to her part.

If I need to conclude then I would say, better watch it. My ratings would be 3.5* out of 5.

After watching movie Himmatwala you will have no himmat to stand even

The movie Himmatwala is nothing but a satire to Bollywood which shows, how stupid Bollywood was during 80s. Movie though used to run enough and earn also that time, but now those movies in present context stand nowhere.
I think Sajid Khan used to love Bollywood of 80s a lot and now he thought of remaking the same movie on the same plot without understanding other Indian's mindset.
Sajid Khan forgot that in this 30 years India has taken a leap, and now it has not remained the same audience who would accept any nonsense by paying you their hard earned money.
 Movie Himmatwala has nothing but the same "Ghisa pita story of maa beta and their lachari". Movie do not lack at anything else but the old dated script. Acting of characters or lead actors almost all played their role very dutifully. What lacked was the stupid jokes and insensible story line.
Sajid Khan lost all his earned reputation from Heyy Baby, Houseful & Houseful 2 by making this Himmatwala of 1983 in 2013.
Movie is truly a bakwas and will left you with nothing but a hope to get a disprin soon.
I would suggest to carry any pain killer before entering the movie hall for this movie.

Indian Budget 2013 analysis

Please read this analysis from an amateur blogger's perspective who has little knowledge on Budget system, but knows well how budget going to affect his lifestyle.
On the budget day I read on many of the newspaper sites that the budget is for poor, women and youth. Some analysed the budget as a balanced one.
Some said it has no potential to tackle fiscal deficit and some say it was the govt's last budget so, nothing hopeful had been expected.
What I analysed is that Govt. had no other option but to present a budget which can help him garner some votes from the weaker sections be it women or poors. If anyone analyzes the other budgets of this govt. they will find there is a huge difference between them and the current budget. Earlier govt used to table the budget which used to have solutions tackling fiscal deficits, debts and GDP growth. But this time govt deliberately had to forward a budget which lacks almost all the previous themes and adapted a newer version to attract the voters.
Govt tried wooing voters by giving models only, like women bank. I don't understand what this women bank mean. Are women now not allowed to open bank accounts in the existing banks?
Taxes on high end mobile phones, gadgets and AC restaurants, Cigarrettes. These are the sectors or products where no one can blame govt for imposing any tax they like. But what these high tax payers or super rich have done wrong, why they are taxed so heavily. These super rich only give you employment and they only give you more than 80% of the total tax the govt receive.
Funds to SC, ST, Other minority. Why?
who will pay the debt created by this govt?
we the tax payers are going to nothing and all those who escape taxes going to be benefitted? I don't understand any logic behind this.
We also lose morals govt, please don't ignore us, else we too need to devise ways to escape taxes.

On Damini's Death: Make a pledge to treat women with respect and dignity

With Damini's death, the whole India and the world has come to stand still. Damini's death has asked us to please STOP now. Please STOP dishonoring women, please STOP disrespecting women, please STOP abusing, harrassing, eve teasing and raping women.
Please respect women with their dignity. Please STOP treating women like toys and objects.
Damini's death has showed a face of men, which is so real and cruel. Please change this inhumanity towards women, please change this attitude of misbehaving.
Masculinity means the power to protect, secure and guard and not to beat, harrass and rape. Please bring a reform in our family, society, our state and in our country.
Please lets make this pledge :

• - We will personally treat all women at home and elsewhere with respect and demand the same from others
• - We will not practice discrimination against women at home and in the workplace and will fight it wherever we see it
• - We will intervene in whatever way we can when we see a woman being harassed whether verbally or by deeds. In all such cases, we will insist on FIRs being lodged and acted upon
• - We will not vote for politicians who treat women with disrespect

India Vs Pakistan resuming cricket rivalry with T20 on 25th dec 2012

Two Arch rivals India and Pakistan resuming cricket slogfest almost after 5 years. One of the biggest matches after the world cup 2011 one can say.

This match of 25th dec 2012 is also the first match after Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has announced his retirement from One day International.

One thing we will surely miss in this match and matches after this is Sachin Tendulkar. 

Both the teams has many new faces and these new players are playing for the first time against Pakistan.

if we see the history of Ind vs Pak in T20, they have played 3 matches and all the matches have been won by India only.

Bhuvneswar Kumar and Ravindra Jadeja are the two new faces from team India. 

Talking to the toss, Pakistan won the toss and elected to field. Ajinkya Rahane and Gautam Gambhir came first for batting and Mohd Irfan (tallest cricketer ever 7.1' ) with the first ball. 

God retired from his profession: Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin retirement made an end to an era of cricket which has made the cricket a religion for the entire nation. Sachin today retired from One day Internationals, we can never forget the days when lakhs of television sets used to switch off after his dismissal.
No one can defy the fact that many know cricket only because of Sachin. Only he is responsible to make cricket a religion for the entire nation India.
Sachin has been the biggest inspirer for many to enter cricket. He is the god of cricket and he defined cricket on his own style.
people's mind are volatile, there remained some flickering mind who forget his rising and achieving days and had started criticising his form, but a class player never forget his class, Sachin proved this many times in his career.
There remained almost no record unbroken, he defined many new records to break and its very certain that those records will be very difficult for others too to break.
Sachin is the emperor and he will always be the emperor of all times to many millions of people. He will always remain in our heart no one else at least now seems to take his position.

delhi gang rape case 23 year old girl is very confident and optimistic

The 23 year old paramedical student of Delhi, seems to be confident of her recovery, she is very composed mentally and very hopeful of her recovery. She is optimistic and fighting with full strength to get her life back.
We wish her good recovery and praying for her sooner recovery.

Google Doodle of 22nd dec 2012 Srinivasa Ramanujan

Google paying homage to the great Indian mathematician and autodidact Srinivasa Ramanujan on his 125th birthday by placing a doodle on Google's India's homepage.
Google had started this trend few years back and got good response from its users. Users now eagerly waits for the homepage and some also design their doodle to be placed as Google homepage. Google also announce a Google4Doodle contest for children till std Xth every year and receives huge number of participants and their works. google places the winner's Doodle on children day and gives an award to the winner.

Damini now able to breath on her own

Delhi gang raped case: The Delhi girl who was taken to Safdurjung hospital after the brutal incident, has now been reported to be able to breath on her own. Last night from 2AM to 3:30PM she was off ventilator and doctors seems confident of her recovery with the girls fighting spirit.
According to the doctors girl is recovering fast inspite of infections and sepsis and she asking her mother to talk with. Doctors said she is not so strong enough to talk and thus they are avoiding her talking and also letting others talking to her.
